Man! When was the last time I blogged?! November 2011… Right.
It's February 2014 bitches! So much has changed since then, damn. So many things happened I don't even know where to start.
So why start blogging again? I realized when I'm really upset or there are things that I can't say or don't know how to say, I'll blog. Or when there are things that really bothers me, irks me, pisses me off to an extreme, I'll blog.
But for this one, it's a festive post~ Festive darling, festive~

Let's not forget, over the years, I've acquired the status "DIVA~~~" (gay enough for ya?) Yes ladies and gentlemen, I never thought it could happen, but it did, and let me tell you, this is one of the best title I could have been given to!
Of course, over the years, I've gained friends, made close friends, and forged unbreakable bonds with best friends. I think it's because of that, I've slowly walked out from my dark corner (aka blogging) and started living life more.
I've staged 3 yang qin concertos, 林冲夜奔 (2011) , 满乡随想 (2012) , 凤点头 (2013). For me, these are highlights of my chinese orchestra life! Yes people, I'm still actively involved in chinese orchestra!
Here's a audio recording of the concerto I staged back in 2012 :)
I'm still waiting for the 2013 凤点头 video to be uploaded. Damn it you people, tick tock tick tock…
I've also gotten my Diploma in performance for Yang Qin last year, and mastered dream pieces one after another, which was great :)
My dream yang qin piece (Sunshine on Tashkurgan) since the first time I heard it back in 2006, and it has became a reality :)
OH OH OH! Did I mention, I went to TAIWAN last year to attend the Cimbalom World Association Congress? Yes bitches, be jealous.
Basically it's a congress where people all around the world who plays the dulcimer, cimbalom, santur, yang qin, thailan khim, all come together in a 4 days cimbalom extravaganza! Featuring solo performances, huge closing concerts, lectures, talks and cultural exchange that's all about the big cimbalom family presented by people from USA, England, Netherlands, Sweden, Hungary, Czech Republic, Iran, Egypt, Thailand, Singapore, Malaysia, Indonesia, Taiwan, China, Hong Kong, Korea and Japan! I represented Singapore.
of course there's the yang qin, these two are my babies :)
