What's wrong with being specific?Sure i may be too specific SOMETIMES,but i just want people to get what i'm saying.For instance,if i suddenly come up to you and said something like 'damn it' and then just walked away.If you know me well or know what's going on then you will know what i'm damning about.But what if you're just passing-by?I will certainly get misunderstood,and i don't like being misunderstood.
Anyway,the reason i want to be more specific is because of my mother.My mother always ordered me to help her take something like,'Anson go upstairs and fetch me my glasses.'I always find this very annoying.Not that she's ordering me to find stuff annoying,it's annoying that she's not specific enuf.MOSTLY i failed to get it for her and she just scold me again and blah blah blah...Then i just tell her everytime that she's just not specific enuf,then she's just got silent and got back to the thing she's doing...
Well,being specific or not,try to use a way to convey your message to let everyone understand what you are trying to say.
